Access Issue: Fragile Sandstone: Don't Climb Wet Rock Details

Kelly Canyon is a sandstone climbing area and the rock is very fragile when wet. Be aware of recent weather and ask a local if you are unsure of conditions. Do not climb for at least a day following rainfall. Do not climb on rock that is visibly moist or seeping.

Description

23+ ft east facing wall of thin to larger holds on good Kelly sandstone. This wall gets sun till noon then starts to cool down more the longer you are there.

Getting There

The Gun Locker is about 300 ft past The Farm Boy Dyno and Mother Approved on the opposite side of the canyon before the bend. Access to the top and the down climb is the short gully just about 20 ft right of the wall.
