Description
A freestanding formation with routes on all four sides, so some routes are always in the shade. It's a scluded place featuring technical granite routes. Most of the routes have some bolts but the majority needs suplemental gear. The grades range from III to VIII+. It is possible to take an easier route to the top of the formation to set up a toprope on the harder routes, but one can not just walk up.
Getting There
Follow the directions to Steinwald. When you enter the forrest go straight on a big forrest road that comes from the right. After a long right bend a sign on the left leads you to the Räuberfelsen. (shortly before this there is a faint marked trail on the left. Don't take this. The right turn of has a sign that says 'Räuberfelsen'.)
