Description

Lookout Wall is clustered in the Summit Group Walls at Mount Erie. It is located just below and climbers left of Summit wall. In 2004, two sport routes were bolted on the vertical face. There is also a dirty crack that has a couple trad lines that can be climbed as well.

Warning: Since this wall is directly under the Lookout Point on the Erie Summit. People have been know to throw objects off the top, sometimes glass. Good practice to wear a helmet even when TR'ing and watch out for glass on route and at the base.

Getting There

From Summit Wall: Take the trail down from the middle of Summit Wall. The trail descends briefly then turns and heads west across a couple ledges to the base of Lookout Wall

Skyline Trail gives access to Lookout Wall coming from the west.
