Description Suggest change

Two small crags here with quite a variety of difficulty. There is definitely something for everyone here and with the SE, S, and SW-facing aspect, this is an ideal area for good Spring and Fall days.

Getting There Suggest change

Travel to Herzogenreuth near Heiligenstadt in Oberfranken. It's pretty much straight East from Bamberg and very near this city. Once there, head north towards Neudorf. 750m after leaving Herzogenreuth you'll see a "Wasserschutzgebiet" sign on the right next to a little road (GPS coordinates given). Park here (don't block the road). Walk back towards Herzogenreuth for 30m at which point you'll see a faint trail on your right cutting back and then heading straight across the field towards the forest. Follow this to said forest and turn right (there's an electric-fence box here). Walk along the edge of the forest for 80m and turn left into it at a little climber's trail. Follow the trail to the right and you'll first see the Findling on your left as you look back (both crags are below you), and the Herzogenreuther Wand is just 50m further.
