The climbing season is in the winter because in the summer it rains a lot, but very sunny days in summer, you can climb, but beware of the sun on the climbing walls.

The set marumbi is formed by six mountains and one mount:Olimpo (1.539 m.); Boa Vista (1.491 m.); Gigante (1.487 m.); Ponta do Tigre (1.400 m.); Esfinge (1.378 m.); Torre dos Sinos (1.280 m.); Abrolhos (1.200 m.); Facãozinho (1.100 m.) and the mount Rochedinho (625 m)

The rock type it's a really dense granite.

On the trail always has shade, because of the dense forest, but the climbing walls most of the time it is sunny.

Getting There Suggest change

Bus: Leaving Curitiba towards Morretes by the road Graciosa, down in the village of Porto Cima, after it follows the road of the small beach that leads to Marumbi Station.
Walk: Leaving Quatro Baras by way of Itupava, down the Serra do Mar to the base of the IAP on the road that leads to the street of the small beach that leads to Marumbi station.
Car: Leaving Curitiba towards Morretes by the road Graciosa, when you arrive in the village of the Porto Cima, follow the road of small beach to the base of the IAP, or until the Engineer Lange season.
