This area is owned by the resort, so definitely keep a low profile, minimize impact, and clean up after yourself. Occasionally the Beginner Slab will be occupied by a guide from Wintergreen, show some respect and stay out of their way.
Description
There are a handful of routes and projects here, along with two of the most classic crack climbs at Wintergreen. Directly around the corner from the Beginner Slab.
Getting There
Hike ~10 minutes down the Blackrock Trail (yellow blaze,) from the parking lot until it intersects with the Brimstone Trail (red blaze.) Turn right at the junction, hiking downhill, and in a few minutes you will see the Beginner Slab off to your right. Make your way to the large shelf below and to the left of the Beginner Slab. The Cracks are on the south facing wall.
