Hey all!

I've been visiting the Belgrade lakes since before I could walk, particularly east pond. I've been climbing for a few years and have always wondered if there was any good rock in the area, but didn't want to take any time away from the lake to go on a wild goose chase, after all I only get about a week a year up there and try to make the best of it!! Anyway, I'm wondering if there is any tall rock around the Mt Philip area? I don't have any pads but would love to role up in such a special place! Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Jul 9, 2014

There's a slightly overhanging 35' cliff up there. belgradelakes.org/the%20mou…

French Mountain might also have some possibilities for roped climbing.
