Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

As secluded as the rest of the Becky's Buttress area. Gets afternoon sun. A few easy leads with a rap station up top. Worth a stop on your way to Becky's Buttress.

Getting There

This is a small formation passed on your way out to Becky's Buttress. "Gorby goes to Washington", "Quoth The Raven", and "Protocol" are all on the Northwest facing slab (left side of the formation when approaching from the road.)
