Warning Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

'Dickfour' offers one of the prouder summits to be had in this area. The entrada sandstone here is pretty soft in places so if you prefer wingate, this tower is probably not for you.

This area in general is quite interesting and is becoming a popular place to hike but don’t worry, you’re virtually guaranteed to have the route to yourself. I would be surprised if it has been climbed more than a half dozen times.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the directions for the Sunshine Wall. Once you reach the Sunshine Wall, hike southeast past 'Tower 143' on the defunct 4x4 road until 'Dickfour' comes into view.
