Description
Overhung on three sides, the Elevated Boulder hosts several hard classics and has the potential for many more.
Getting There
From the meadow where the NCAR spur trail hits the Mesa Trail, take the trail going west up Dinosaur Mountain. After a few hundred yards, you'll pass the fifty foot tall Cube Rock. Elevated Boulder looks like a UFO crashed into the side of the hill above the Cube. In another fifty yards or so, the trail passes just north of the boulder.
