Description
The granite peak south of Zomba. Note the way points. This is a really nice hike up through cultivated fields and small villages, past an old graveyard and up to the top of the peak. Anyone along the way can tell you how to get there. the trail winds up, and crosses over the backside, bearing right after the notch. Nice views of the plateu. there are a number of boulders here, and many bouldering problems. We did a few on the boulders down and left of the summit.

Look for a left after crossing the bridge on the M5 south of Zomba. Drive up and make the first right. Park at the track on the right about a half KM up. As usual, a thousand kwacha goes a long ways. The kids can show you the trail, but it is pretty obvious as it heads up into the fields.
