Description
This is a small bouldering area with 10-20 limestone-conglomerate erratic blocks strewn about the forest and the sage. This is a good warm weather spot to climb. No restrictions on climbing (USFS)land. The boulders are spread out and bushwhacking is involved in a lot of the approaches. Season's summer and fall
Getting There
Travel south from Pocatello on Bannock highway following the signs to the Nordic ski area. Bannock Rd becomes Mink Creek Rd at the junction of W Portnuef Rd. From here start a mileage log and at around 7 miles you will see a left turn that heads south (this is the South Fork Rd.) may or may not be signed. Drive 1.5 miles south on a good dirt road. The canyon will constrict and you will pass a cliff with bolts on it out your Right door. Just pass this is a pull-out. From here the boulder are in walking distance.
