Description

Large sandstone pillar out in the middle of nowhere on a flat plain that I just found out was right on the line between the Grand Staircase and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Getting There

Just outside the town of Escalante take the "Hole In the Rock" road south. About 3/4 of the way down (38 miles off HW 12) toward Lake Powell on the left is a sandy jeep trail out to the pillar (see map attached).
