Description Suggest change

Pucusana is a small fishing town on the coast about 40 minutes south of Lima. It has a good amount of “solid” climbable rock that sees little traffic but is decent quality in comparison to the surrounding crags. There are currently about 15 routes from 5.5 to V5 with the majority of it being bouldering. The routes are all concentrated in a small cove and the bouldering is all on a fairly small section of the crag. The landings for the majority of the bouldering are good although some of the routes are pretty highball. The approach is about 10 minutes and the location is super cool! On the hike you can see great views of Pucusana, the ocean and the famous “Boqueron del Diablo.” This area is also good for fishing and has abundant marine life, like sea lions, crabs, turtles, Pelicans, and many other annoying birds.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Panamerican highway take a bus for 1 sol to the main "downtown" area. Then walk through the park to the "Boqueron." Go up above the Boqueron and head north, downhill, and then uphill to the rocky coastline. When you see two black wooden crosses, go down towards the water and about a 100 meters left to the climbing.
