Description
This long escarpment on the northern side of the Jebel Taskra massif runs northwest from Ida Ougnidif and is littered with various size crags, many of which are close to the road. Along this escarpment there are some really impressive cliffs with varying aspects and superb quality quartzite and many of the routes here are destined for classic status. It is also one of the closest venues to the Kasbah Tizourgane and therefore convenient in many ways. The road running below the escarpment runs from east to west and eventually leads north to Ait Baha.
Getting There
From the Kasbah Tizourgane drive toward Ida Ougnidif and after a few hundred metres take a right turn. There is a small but distinctive signpost marked with the various village names which are found along this road (Assghkriss, Ayoufis, Assldrar, Doudad, etc) and the various crags are described as one encounters them from this direction.
