Description
This is a large boulder with easy slab climbing above a small roof. The fun of this boulder comes from figuring out the various ways to pull out from under the roof onto the slab face of the boulder. The rock quality is variable; some parts are extremely solid, while other gravelly parts will peel away in your hand.
If you're ambitious, there is potential to work in some difficult sit starts under the roof. The slab face is spars for any solid holds, so finding something solid enough to catch while coming out from under the roof will be interesting.
There are a couple yucca plants growing around a little, scrubby bush under the boulder. There is some fun climbing near the yuccas, but don't fall on them or you'll get slabbed...I mean stabbed in the back. Okay, I apologize for clubbing you over the head with the pun.
