Description Suggest change

A well-defined trail runs around the base of the hill with a water tower at its peak. Small groupings of boulders can be found along the trailside and further up the face of the hill.

Some of the boulders are very close to private residential lots with houses on them. If you are going to climb on those boulders, don't be loud or obnoxious and don't bring a ton of people along. The homeowners don't complain about people using the trails, but they might be irritated at people coming much closer to their property. Be respectful.

Getting There Suggest change

Depending on which group of boulders you would like to get to, there are several turnoffs on South Camp Road that enter into subdivisions that line the water tower hill's base. You can access the main trail the circles the hill by turning onto Altamara Ave., Questa Dr., and Canyon Rim Dr.
