Description Suggest change

This is the furthest peak I will cover in the Mount Roger's National Recreation Area, and this is the third bouldery peak along Rhododendron Gap.

This area has some fantastic boulders, views, and camping areas. Another plus is the opportunity to see some of the feral ponies that are resident to the MRNRA.

Don’t miss the Paradise, Puzzler, and Chiral Boulders while in the area!

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up from the pony gate and then through the Rhododendron Gap proper. After the gap and past the Rhododendron Peak (the tallest boulder crest of the three areas listed) you will hike down into another open, clear "gap". After the gap there is a third bouldery "peak" which is the Paradise Peak.
