Description

Shady and mild temperatures throughout the day? Check. Some of the best views in castle rock? Check. Sketchy trad/all gear possibilities (or not sketchy top ropes)? Check. Decent rock quality, brand new anchors, and quality moderate routes makes this place a fantastic spot to hit up while climbing around the Ridge Trail.

Getting There

From the parking lot head down Saratoga Gap Trail until you hit the second fork (left to CR falls, right to Goat Rock), go towards Goat Rock. Walk about 1/2 mile until you reach a faint climber's trail on your right (if you hit Billy Goat rock you've gone too far). The climber's trail is on the right just before you pass through a worn sandstone boulder. Less than 1.5 miles.
