Update: per Bruce Hildenbrand: the area has been open since 2023.
Per JF M: as of May 2022, there is no signage on-site, nor information on the USFS webpage for the Cameron Peak Fire (nor on their published map of closures) that indicates the area is closed.
Per Bruce Hildenbrand: it appears that the Forest Service has closed access to all the climbing areas accessed via Storm Mountain Road (Monastery, Cedar Park, Combat Rock, etc.) until they can clear all the dangerous dead trees from the Cameron Peak fire.
I worked this issue with Eric Murdock at the AF, and it looks like the Forest Service picked Devil's Gulch Road as the southern boundary even though all the climbing areas on MP.com were not burned.

Description
S and M wall has Monastery type rock, granite with edges, slabs, and crystals. Not many people climb here probably because Combat Rock and The Monastery are more popular destinations. It is 40 yards from the road, so there is no real seclusion. It can be very hot in the summer, maybe it is a better spring/fall wall.
Getting There
Drive west on US Highway 34 out of Loveland till you get to the town of Drake. Take the right fork in the road, County Road 43 and continue west for a couple of hundred yards until you get the the forest service road. Turn right here, and go up the road for 1 1/2 to 2 miles. About a 1/4 of a mile past the Combat road parking lot, there is a 70 foot wall on the left. Parking is very limited. Walk down and across the creek to the base of the wall. Currently there are 3 routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.11.
NOTE: in the past, I have replaced stolen hangers and anchors, because some one has removed or destroyed them.
