Description

This is the most popular quarry in the area, and as a result some climbs are very polished. Climbable even in winter - choose a sunny afternoon.

The rock is generally good, but there are some very unstable looking large blocks at the right hand end of the Main Wall. From time to time bits fall off here.

Getting There

Trowbarrow lies a couple of miles from Silverdale in an area with many small country lanes. On a first visit using an OS map is a good idea (ref. SD 481 758).
