Description

This boulder is tucked away from the more popular Rock House and Olympus Boulders, and is out of the public spotlight. If the kids and onlookers are crawling all over, then scurry across to the Picnic boulder to pull down in privacy.

The Picnic Boulder is short but lengthy, and has plenty of steepness to go around. The downhill end has a massive, handsome, overhanging roof with an interesting mid-stripe of quartzite.

If you like v6's, you can find four nice ones here.

Getting There

Hop across the road from Olympus and into the Rhodos. Look for the short boulder with the long steep roof. This is it.
