Description
If your interested in getting away from the crowds and don't mind less than classic routes then the Slug Wall might be what your looking for. Located way in the back of the canyon between Cat Wall and Reservoir Wall, this crag see's very little traffic and is worth a look. It has about 20 or so routes of varying quality and a lot of unknown information in the guide book. Most of the routes are located on the right side of the wall which gets morning sun.
Getting There
Park at Cat Walls furthest trailhead (below Johnny Cat) and hike east towards the main wash. Follow this wash up the canyon until your below the west end of Slug Wall. The lowest angle ridgeline leads up to the west facing wall and should have a faint trail and occasional cairns. This approach should take about 30 to 45 minutes.
