Description
East facing cliff bands of beautiful granite, with many large boulders in a substantial scree field.
This area is currently under development and will be fleshed out with much more detail once land access is worked out.
It's prime though, and full of sick boulders.
Note- This place used to be a mountain, then quarrying from the late 19th century on blasted it apart. Half the mountain still stands providing the cliff bands and vertical sections, and there's lots of large blocks laying around. In the late 2000s the quarry that this is part of was bought and re-opened. These cliffs haven't been blasted yet, but across the road the quarry is churning away. Hard to say how long this place will remain untouched. There's great potential for climbing, but something needs to be worked out with the landowners.
