Description
The area is south facing. It is a good area for winter climbing. I would guess that in the summer it would be very hot. It is smaller and more local area. I don't expect that it gets very crowed. Malanyeu has some good pocket climbing on nice limestone. The area is bolted. Note, some of the bolt lines are a little old. Use your best judgement. Also, be cautious on the anchors. One route I climbed had one rust link to rap of from. We left a binner to be safe.
The area is covered in a guide book: Escalar al Bergueda by Llucia Herandez "CATX" Josep Pujol. The publishing company is Base:Tandem Sport.

Getting There
Take C-16 120km north from Barcelona Spain. You will pass through a tunnel around 118km. Take the right after the tunnel. The street name is Calle de la lglesia Malanyeu. This is a small rural road with lots of turns as it head up to Malanyeu. The parking area is near an old church. There is a sign talking about the area. I think it is a trail map. From there you walk around the church, and past the cemetery. You are walking on a dirt road. The road takes a right. Continue to follow the road. It then takes a sharp left. You then head toward a farmer's house. Just before the gate to the house there is a climber trail to the right. Follow that trail to the crag.
