Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
There are problems all around this boulder, but the side that faces the road has a couple of good up problems and a great right to left aret. All at moderate grades VB-V1.
The south and west side of the boulder is completly overhanging with a couple of good problems on the south side (V0 and up) that start deep under the overhang, with great holds, and mantles on a sharply cut top out.
Down climb the east side of the boulder.
It is not unusual to have to brush pine needles off the top of the boulder before climbing.
