Access Issue: Dangers beware!
Details
Parking area and crag located on public land (i.e. Blue Ridge Parkway/Dept. of the Interior), but established routes have not been officially approved by Park Service so tread lightly and leave no trace.
Crag can be accessed from above and below, but both trails are steep and on loose terrain.
Always wear a helmet and announce rockfall. Crag is riddled with poison ivy, ticks, and snakes during the growing season.

Description
Sport, mixed and TR. Heady overhanging TR/projects in the Hole proper, but sport and mixed routes farther uphill. BEWARE, belays are steep on loose footing and HELMETS are a must for poor rock quality at this far uphill end of the cliff. Please announce "ROCKFALL!"
Getting There
From the lower trail, hike downstream to the lower tier, and then hike uphill and right of the upper tier. From the upper tier, wrap around the cliff to the right, until you begin to ascend a huge gully. To the left of the gully is a large hole in the cliff with "SW" spray-painted in red.
From the upper trail, hike downstream until you see a large gully just before the cliff. Hike down the gully, immediately under the cliff. Some routes are available just before you reach the hole.
