Description
The Embryo Area is a collection of boulders on a rocky hillside just off the road and although none of the problems are classics a fun time can be had here, and often in solitude.
Getting There
Park in large dirt turnout 1.5 miles from the Entrance Station on the left (north) side of the road. Cross the road carefully and follow a good trail slightly uphill to the boulders. The distinctive shape of the Embryo Boulder can be a helpful landmark. The approach takes 5 minutes or less.
