Description

Holy Water Wall is a high alpine crag with a dozen or so bolted and TR routes. This crag is only open when the Cottonwood Pass Rd. (CR-306) is open past the Denny Creek Trailhead.

It has nice, compact granite crag with lots of afternoon sun. Be prepared for thin but solid edging!

Watch out for those PM thunder boomers!

Ah, must have been on the TR climb with only 3 bolts and then a runout to the anchor. Aug 1, 2016
Cool little area...the trail starts along the road goes downhill from parking lot. Looks like a lot of the bolts have been replaced. Does anyone know if new routes have been added? Jul 21, 2016
There are some Leeper hangers at the top of the Unknown 5.9; there are three of them though, so I clipped them without a second thought.

Hard area to top rope at, most of the chains are just out of reach from the top. Jul 7, 2013
If this is the crag I think it is, there are some very old bolts (1/4 inchers w/Leeper hangers) and on at least one route I remember wishing I had brought gear as it would have been useful. May 29, 2008
