Description
One of the best boulders in the area. The other boulders in the area are generally surrounded by trees but the Air Jordan Boulder is in direct sunlight plus you get a great view of Pike's Peak behind you.
Getting There
From the parking lot mentioned for the boulders, head into the wash/creek bed and find the faint trail on the right side. This heads uphill and past the dinosaur boulder which looks like a boulder smiling with teeth. Continue up the trail past several other boulders and you will come to a fire pit. Stay on the trail heading down and then up another small hill. Once past the fire pit the boulder is approx 70 yards straight up the hill.
