Description
This area is often referred to as the "Main Area" and as such, it sees the most traffic. It's 95% sandstone with a few conglomerate climbs thrown in too. This zone has an abundance of problems in the V0-V2 range. The "A Bouldering Guide To Utah" guidebook (Black Bible) is extremely useful for finding your way around this zone. There are many problems not listed in this book, but it is a very good start.
Getting There
A Bouldering Guide To Utah provides accurate beta on locating this zone. With a vehicle with moderate clearance, you can drive right up to the boulders. Otherwise, you might have to walk an extra 100 yards. Caution: In the winter often the ground is frozen when you arrive in the morning and it is easy to drive all the way in. Through the day, the road warms in the sun and can become a muddy mess and it is very easy for your vehicle to slide into one of the ditches adjacent to the road. Just a heads up.
