Description
Eagle's Nest is across the creek from Eagle Creek Cliff and a bit upstream from Eagle Lake Cliff. It faces the opposite direction of those walls and gets full sun until the early afternoon, but conveniently goes into the shade just as those walls are coming into the sun. The climbs are in the 5.10 to 5.12 range, are up to 70' high, and don't get much traffic, although most are quite good.
Getting There
The approach from Eagle Lake Cliff may be the biggest deterrent to traffic at Eagle's Nest, although it's really not that bad. Scramble down the talus from Eagle Lake Cliff until you're about 100' upstream of the inlet to the lake, then finagle your way through the willows and across the creek. There's a faint trail on the other side that will lead you to another quick talus hop and eventually, the base of Fledgling Crack.
