The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Slump Rock is a low, rounded, roughly circular formation, not far from the road.

Getting There

As you head north towards the Lost Horse area from Hidden Valley Campground, you will see Slump Rock almost immediately, on your left. Walk across the open desert to the base of the rock.
