Description
Goldline is the last spire in the ridge that runs downhill from the hitching post. There are some great routes on the spire including Goldline and Whiteline both well protected 5.8 climbs. The rock is nice and clean with a great view from the top.
Getting There
You can approach it two ways.1) Hop the guardrail and head downhill. Follow the line of spires on your left. When you reach the last spire and can turn left towards the sore thumb (don't turn left) you are there. (You can also get there by walking around the Bell tower and heading across the gully)
2) You can aproach as you would the fan by walking through the notch near the tunnel entrance (follow the tourists). Head down the hill, turn right before you get to the sore thumb. Continue to the ridge to the west. When you turn the corner you should be able to barely see the parking lot above you.
