Description Suggest change

**12,976 ft (3,955 m)**

This conspicuous black striped peak was obviously the "victim" of heavy glaciation in the last ice age, being immediately east of a group of big alpine peaks, and more than likely poking out of a huge ice-field. As such, while not having the classic lines, it's more or less a nunatak.

The west summit is the higher point and there is a spectacular view of the Abbot group and Bear Creek Spire from here.

Getting There Suggest change

Various approaches. For the Southwest Ridge camp at Treasure Lakes and hike/scramble up to Treasure Saddle (12,480+).
