Description
This area known in the winter time for its skiing hosts several small granite peaks as well other outcropping. In the summer time the lakes thaw out and provide fishing and cold swimming. Once July rolls around everything is pretty well trawed out and rock climbing is possible. During the winter and spring months snow climbing and a bit of ice can be found. Avalanche danger is present though.
Historical Notes: During the early 70s Dave Jenson along with Mead Hargis and Dave Coughlin or solo did several routes on Lee's Peak and Lakes Lookout. Occasionally some of their old pins can be found to the left of the Ramp Route on Lee's Peak.
Lute Jerstad (Total Adventure Company) ran rock climbing seminars and adventure camps at Anthony in the early 70s. Ross Petrie, who then was managing Anthony, was trying to generate summer business which was how this venture came about. Bolts from their climbs can be found around Hoffer Lakes.

In 1971 John McCormick, Dick Pooley, and Dave Nelson did some climbing on Lakes Lookout.
