At face value I think its a cool idea (would be even cooler if they were mixing it up with pro female climbers along the way) but I think its pretty unfair to say the climbing media ignores female climbers(Which they mention several times). Off the top of my head in 2015:

-Sasha DiGiulian climbing the Eiger
-Pamela Pack establishing American Horror Story
-Ashima blowing the doors of everything
-Alex Puccios injury and recovery
-Emily Harringtons send of Golden Gate
-Alex Johnson on The Swoop

All stick out to me as being pretty well covered by various climbing media outlets. I'm sure I could google stories that Ive either forgotten or just were on Blogs/Websites I don't follow that are about other female climbers doing exceptional things.

Also they seem to vilify ReelRock10 for having featured an all male focus. This also seems pretty unfair. You had :

-The Dawn Wall , So if this was say Sasha and Alex P. and not Jorgeson and Caldwell that they wound not have featured it because it was two female climbers? Come on.

-The Fitz Roy Traverse , This again was a big deal it didn't matter who would have done it.

-Dean Potter Tribute , I mean I'm not sure how people can gripe about this.

-The highball portion with Daniel Woods and The Process , this is another thing that its being shown for the land mark event for climbing not just because "Idk whatever Daniel Woods is doing right now...... whatever it is ...hes a guy and hes getting a segment in RR10"

- The Horseshoe Hell Segment , I will concede could have been replaced with something else or at least just focusing on the event as a whole rather than just focusing on the competition between Honnolds team and that other twosome

Just a couple thoughts.

1. I don't know who Corey27 is, and I'm not sure how he (or she) knows who I am.

2. If I were the type to make avatars to "pimp" my blog, I wouldn't have a mountainproject account under my actual name (or provide the same information on my blog).

3. The point of the article was to provide inspiration to creative people to just shrug off anything that comes across to them feeling like "hate". The article wasn't written for people who criticize creative projects constructively or otherwise. I just think it's worth noting that even though it's good to learn from constructive criticism, it's also worth learning how to see past what comes off as a disproportionately critical response to your creation, and maintaining positivity about your project.

Personally, I'm excited to see how the Rockumentary turns out.

Good luck to Rhiannon and Amy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
