Looking for an apartment in Eldo

Anyone got any leads?

A friend of mine used to rent an efficiency the size of a small RV that was a complete dump for some crazy rent, $700 I think. I would live somewhere else, honestly.

Check Craigslist- there's usually one or two apartments listed there--
But watch out for Nate- she's an old lady with a couple of cabins for rent-- Decent places, but she's a tad ecentric and you will seriously regret renting from her.....

My friend wouldn't want to send anyone to the owner. They parted on bad terms.

The craigslist ad has a few problems. 1) No potable water 2) No pets. If anyone else has any leads let me know. Single, responsible guy with super mellow dog looking for a single but willing to share in the right situation.

yo, Its true Nate is a BAD Landlady,her reputation procedes her.She will keep all yer damage deposit for frivolous things like leaves stuck in the cracks of exterior decking.
Renting in Eldo is a crap shoot ,most rentals are complete dives. be prepared to GROVEL. there are some exceptions but be prepared to pay$$$$. also no drumming ,no speeding thru town, yer dog should be well behaved and not bark at everything.

Yeah, Nate's a pain in the ass-- Had a buddy renting from her- she kept his deposit because part of the roof caved in from snow... how exactly that's the tenant's fault, only she knows..

I bumped into a guy moving out of one of her places the other day- he was stoked to be getting outta there..

She'll also be on the property every day. My buddy said there wasn't a single day that she wasn't lurking around and bugging him...

Last I knew small claims court was only $25, and there are pretty solid laws on rental liabilities in place. He probably had a counter-suit as well if he was inconvenienced by the roof caving in (water/cold?) as she failed to provide housing of any standard during that time. As a landlord I'd be worried about that, myself.
Anyway, if she's that bad someone should do the community a favor and haul her ass into court. If she doesn't show, she'll have a judgment filed against her. Her address won't be hard to track down and neither will bank records if she's been cashing your checks.
