Description Suggest change

A nice south facing slab with a pleasant with a flat belay area under a shady oak tree. The belay ares is mostly shady while the rock gets full sun. The wall is a great option for winter climbing.

A 60m rope will get you back to the ground if setting a gear anchor at the top to toprope or climb a second route.

Getting There & Down Suggest change

The wall is located about 100 feet above the Domingo Baca Trail and is approached using a faint climber's trail. See the Mountain Project map for the approach track.

DESCENT OPTIONS:

  • top out and descend back to base using the gully to the climber's left
  • top out and scramble up higher to climb some of the higher routes in this area
  • build a gear anchor and lower/rappel back to the ground to climb another route (knot your rope ends, 60m rope)
