I moved to Hungary in 2010 and live near Budapest. I am really happy with the local climbing opportunities. Unfortunately, Hungary doesn't have very many big mountains but what they lack in rock, they make up for in creativity.

There are tons of cool little bouldering areas and old quarries as well as many beautiful natural cliffs too. I'm having a lot of fun discovering all the areas and have also started to visit nearby international spots as well.
