More Info

I started mountaineering back in the days of wool and Goldline, but didn't really start technical climbing until the 90s in Seattle. Climbed mostly in the Cascades for 10 years, where I also learned to ski halfway competently, then moved to Calgary, Alberta for 9 years and learned what real alpine and ice climbing are about. Have lived in Albuquerque now for 4 years, and go to Colorado a lot (have a place in Durango). I have led the vast majority of climbs that I've done, as I mostly climbed with my wife for 15 years and she never wanted to lead (but she recently quit). I like to move fast for long periods of time. I don't sport climb, and I don't like seconding really hard stuff where I have to wait forever belaying some hardman (which explains why I'm not a better rock climber. . .). Other than that I'm up for just about anything.

Nov 22, 2017 Perhaps the OP was so freaked out by this cute, cuddly dog that he posted this on the wrong thread? View Message

Nov 22, 2017 The weird thing is- a lot of people on this thread, including the OP, seem to think that it is OK to attack a dog that is barking at them. No, it isn't. By law, a dog is the pr… View Message
