Description Suggest change

Starting right of the boltline with hands on a small right upwards trending ledge, work up through diagonal weaknesses on closely-spaced bolts to the slabby bulge. Using a left-facing and sharp crimp-sidepull, a throw with the right hand finds a better sidepull that can then be used to gain the sloping, calcified ledge. Desperate feet.

The small ledge left of the third bolt belongs to this route's neighbour, Itsy Bitsy. Standing on this ledge and subsequently traversing rightwards eases the difficulty by two/three letter grades (~ 5.10b). It is also possible to exit Balance & Composure here, finishing on Itsy Bitsy, further dropping the difficulty.

Location Suggest change

Just around the arrete from Itsy Bitsy, at the beginning of the dirt ramp to the top. Balance & Composure is the rightmost climb on the little crag.

Protection Suggest change

4 bolts, chain anchor with quicklinks
