Description Suggest change

Continuing straight up to the left of a prominent crack, use a series of mildly overhung pockets and crimps to get your feet up and stretch to a protruding block and move to an awkward ledge. Use chossy aggregate to get on top of the block.

On this second ledge, there’s a small cave that can be used for a scrunched resting place.

The final section has a blind side pull on the left hand side of the crack which helps you stand up and find the shallow ledge higher up the face. Match hands and make a powerful move to get feet into the uppermost section. You can bump your left hand to a two finger pocket if that’s comfortable. One more dynamic move brings you to a big juggy block.

To finish, the feet are good. Climb to a comfortable bulge before the rim where you scurry and claw your way to the top.

(Other than the little side pull, stay out of the crack, or the route is maybe 5.8)

Location Suggest change

Come down from the staircase beyond the fence by the overlook tower. Walk around the barge-sized block to the center of the west side and you can’t miss it.

Protection Suggest change

Tree anchors on the block can be accessed from the backside bouldering tunnel by way of a v.easy scramble up 15 feet or so. Pads, if you like highball.
