Description Suggest change

Climb the flaring, serpentine crack, then top out over a ledge to reach three glue-in bolts just below the main rappel anchor. Though flaring, there are a few good hand jams and a few interesting moves getting through and out of the upper half of the crack. Many of the holds are face holds and in the crack. With limited jams, it climbs more like a gear-protected face climb through an interesting feature than a crack climb.

Update 9/2026: A few hours spent scrubbing moss and dirt, cleaning placements, and removing loose holds and rock made this a much more enjoyable climb!

Location Suggest change

From the base of Northern Aggression on the north end of the east face, scramble up and right to arrive at the ledge below the NE face, where this climb is located.

Protection Suggest change

The book says gear to 5". I brought and didn't place a 5. I would bring doubles 0.1 to 0.3, singles 0.4 to 2, med-large nuts, QDs and a couple of ADs to prevent rope drag. Protects ok, but don't expect the warm fuzzies on this one.
