Location
When making the initial hike down toward the south face, this route is approximately 75' to the left of 'Mary Jane' (the first route encountered near the top). The route, which is actually west facing, is signatured by a steep blocky arete with a hand/fist crack on its right side leading up ('Coffin Corner').
Description
Start up a series of blocks to the base of a shallow corner. Clip the first four bolts before heading up the steep prow of the arete. Once on the prow, make a few moves up and left to an overhang, clipping three more bolts along the way. Move out right and surmount the overhang (crux). Pass three more bolts before reaching a 2-bolt anchor equipped with cold shuts. Either lower or rap off here (100') or continue up the 2nd pitch (3 bolts lead to a 2-bolt anchor with cold shuts, 70'). Descend down the right side via a 3rd class gully.
