Description Suggest change

About 40 feet left of The Ramp, scramble up to the small cave-like feature on the ledge behind and to the right of a couple of Hemlock trees. Or walk in to this point from the far left.

Boulder up the left-facing dihedral/slot thing at the right side of the small cave to gain a no-hands stance on the ledge above. Slam a couple cams in the jam crack above the alcove. Good hands but not great feet get you past the V slot to the twin finger cracks above. Skirt left of the small roof, then follow the shallow, slightly left-trending corner system up to a large ledge. Traverse right on this easy ledge for about eight feet to a stance at the base of an arete and a shallow, right-facing dihedral. Climb up the dihedral and the face just to its right, to a small ledge about six feet to the left of the belay/rappel ledge of The Ramp.

Before stepping right to the anchors of The Ramp, hitch the base of a small tree back and to your LEFT to prevent your second from taking a swing. (I toss a basket hitch around the tree using a cordollette. The tree is a little bothersome to reach, so a basket hitch is more convenient and safer for the follower to clean than a girth hitch since you don't have to climb over to the tree to undo it.)

Belay and rappel from the anchors of The Ramp.
