Description Suggest change

Chiefin is the least difficult route on the east wall of the Citadel which brings climbers onto the ledge (with bolted anchor) from which climbers can access the routes above. A bolted anchor at the top of the line allows climbers to climb this route as a single pitch only, if desired. The route consists of jugs and jams with a balancy crux near the top. The gear is generally good.

Location Suggest change

This is the broken crack near the middle of the lower wall on the east face of the Citadel. Climb this to this route or the route Self Sandbag to reach the midway ledge.

Protection Suggest change

Cams BD #0.3-#3 and optional nuts.
