Description Suggest change

The long-ogled "Mega Mega" pillar has finally been climbed, at a surprisingly moderate grade.

Two direct, fall line pitches to approach the pillar. First pitch starts on the left along the approach ice before it steepens into Blackwell Falls.

We continued, between Raggedy Man and The Show MGO, for 3 more mixed pitches (to M6/7) above the pillar in an attempt to finish a direct line, but were turned around late at night, 20 feet from easy ground, by steep, unprotectable rock.

Location Suggest change

Obvious pillar left of Blackwell Falls. Often snapped, see "Show Must Go On" for unformed/ mixed version.

Protection Suggest change

Screws, lots of beaks/ pins for the mixed above, single rack
