Warning Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Slabby start on somewhat delicate rock that leads into a nice hand crack. This steepens to a bulge which is easily stemmed through and then eases significantly. Move right into the crack/groove until it becomes 4th class and build a trad anchor there. Escape climber's right to the normal descent from Rose Tower.

Location Suggest change

Once you top out on Rose Tower, look west and you will see an obvious crack up the large slab face. Traverse the 4th class slab to the start (navigating a narrow but deep chasm, easily crossed higher up). Find the water streak and start climber's left on some slab that leads to the hand crack.
