Description Suggest change

This is long 40 – 45 meter, top rope climb, on the eastern side of the cliffs and set up by Vince Langdon-Morris in June 2008. Again it may be technically ‘leadable’ with traditional gear but Vince is not going to be the one to claim this prize.

The first slab (5 meters) is nearly vertical, difficult to get onto and strenuous. You have to trust your feet, utilize friction and push up, holding onto the small hand holds. After the first 5 meters the angle of the face becomes more on balance and easier to cope with. Its like this for the following 20 meters, slowly edging leftward and upwards, on balance to the ridge / pathway cutting across the face. As noted if you do not feel up to the next section, ask the belayer to lower you off, or walk down the ridge pathway.

The best way up to the top, is to edge along the ridge to the left, past a small tree. I have as yet been unable to go straight up, its just too difficult.
